It was candle power when Singaporeans and foreigners gathered downtown to mark Earth Hour on Saturday 28 March from 8:30pm to 9:30pm.
More than 2,000 people turned up at the Esplanade Park. The event was organised by the World Wide Fund for Nature.
Elsewhere, many companies and hotels also switched off building-facade and non-essential lighting from 8:30pm to 9:30pm.
We are happy that we have done a small bit for the future of Earth....!

My family & I + our dogs also observed the Earth Hour from 8:30pm to 9:30pm. We switched off all the lights in the house and all the non-essential power points too, and then took the dogs for a walk and ended up in the park nearby.
